Parent Liaison

Greenbrier is fortunate to have a parent liaison. A parent liaison for a Title 1 school implements and manages school-wide parenting initiatives and activities. They support the principal and Title 1 chairpersons in organizing and documenting parental involvement. Their responsibilities include helping to provide transportation, childcare, home visits, food, and clothing issues, as well as helping to assist in school family activities. Parent liaisons also help to encourage parents to volunteer in the school and facilitate meetings for parents to help in the decision-making for their child's education.
