Welcome to Greenbrier Elementary – Home of the Sidewinders!

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of this incredible school. As I enter my third year at Greenbrier and my 28th year in education, I continue to be inspired each day by our students, staff, and families.

I am an Arizona native, born and raised in the West Valley. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Ottawa University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. My journey in education began right here in DVUSD, where I taught for seven years before stepping into leadership roles in neighboring districts. After many wonderful years as an administrator, I was thrilled to return to DVUSD and become part of the Greenbrier community.

At Greenbrier, we believe that all children are capable of success — no exceptions. When students are given a safe and supportive environment, a growth mindset, and passionate educators who make learning engaging and meaningful, extraordinary things happen. Our goal is to foster a sense of community, curiosity, and confidence in every Sidewinder who walks through our doors.

On a personal note, I am blessed with two amazing adult children, Darren and Jennifer, who both attended DVUSD schools and still live in Arizona. I now have three wonderful grandchildren who bring so much joy to my life. In my free time, I enjoy Arizona’s beautiful sunshine, swimming, golfing, listening to music, and visiting the beach whenever I can.
