About the Teacher
Welcome to 3rd Grade!
My name is Sarah Dressman.I am in my 11th year as a teacher at Greenbrier Elementary. I have taught several different grades during my time here. My very first year was in 5th grade. The next year, I moved to 3rd, where I stayed for 5 years, then into 2nd grade for one year. Now back where I feel most at home, in 3rd grade!!
I believe I have the skills and ability to make students desire learning! It is important to me to have life-long learners in the world. I am blessed each and every year to have students in my class. And I will strive to show them love and encouragement to be their best selves! I will be their biggest fan on their learning journey! I will root them on in their wins and loses. Because I believe in each of you!
I am a Glendale native! I went to Arrowhead from K-3rd, then Legend Springs from 4th-6th, next to Highland Lakes Elementary for middle school, and I am a proud graduate of Mountain Ridge High school. I then moved on to college where I graduated from Glendale Community College with an Associates in Arts. Next, I got my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I had the pleasure of staying home and being part of a cohort at GCC for this degree. Finally, I received my SEI endorsement.
I am a mom of two little ones. Bartolo, my ridiculously smart 6-year-old. He is a now a 1st grader here at Greenbrier. Then there is Madison, my wild but cute 4-year-old. I am also blessed to have my bonus daughter, Sophia, who is now a mom herself. I am a step-grandma to 1 year-old, Aurora. For fun, I love spending my free time with family. We love to go bowling, swimming, and eat out. Sushi is our FAVORITE! We are also huge baseball fans and will most likely be at a baseball game when the Dodgers are in town! GO DODGERS!
