Welcome to Greenbrier Kindergarten
Hello!
We are so excited to meet all of you! This exciting year will be filled with many new friends, adventures, and learning. We understand that Kindergarten can be overwhelming at times, and we want to ensure that all families know we are with them every step of the way.
In our classrooms, your children are cared for, protected, engaged, active, learning, and, above all, loved. It is our goal to encourage your children to be the best people they can be. We promise to do our best to help them learn and grow both inside and outside the classroom. Every child comes to us with wonderful gifts, strengths, and talents, and we can’t wait to help them flourish even more.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. You can find our email address under the Meet the Teacher tab, or you may always reach out to us on Class Dojo

Meet the Teachers
Miss Macee Nithman
Hello,
My name is Macee Nithman and I am so excited to be your student's Kindergarten teacher this year!
I am very passionate about teaching Kindergarten and love to help my students find a love for school and learning. I have experience teaching 3rd and 4th grade as well, but ultimately fell in love with teaching Kindergarten. I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University, and my ESL endorsement (English as a Second Language). When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, shopping, and spending time with my family.
I look forward to meeting you and your family, and I can't wait for an amazing year of learning!

Mrs. Chelsea Weeks
My name is Chelsea Weeks and I am so excited to be here at Greenbrier with your kiddo :) Allow me to take a few moments and introduce myself. Originally, I am from Danville, Illinois. However, I have lived in Arizona since 2010. I am married to a wonderful man named Joshua, who works at Luke Air Force Base. We have two children and two fur babies. I love to read, shop, take walks, and watch movies. I am also an adjunct professor in the College of Education at Grand Canyon University.
It is my personal belief that successful education can only be achieved as a team, meaning the teacher, parent, student, and administration all come together to ensure academic and personal growth for ALL children. Kindergarten is a time for children to expand their love of learning, general knowledge, and ability to socialize and reach out to the world. Deer Valley’s educational program is designed to meet all that and provide a nurturing and safe environment that allows for academic and personal growth. While Kindergarten marks a crucial transitional milestone in your child’s life, it is still important for children to be children. We are in for a great year.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me for any questions, concerns or comments.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Chelsea Weeks, M.Ed, Ed.S
